How to create and develop productive relationships both in person and in writing
The fundamental building blocks of successful communication involve being able to deliver a message clearly and engagingly, and to understand and appreciate other people's messages. This in turn leads to increased productivity and a sense of professional well-being.

However, many young people start their working lives not knowing how to communicate face to face with colleagues, let alone with employers or clients. They are more comfortable sending text messages than they are speaking. Some people lack confidence to speak up when communicating, while others are so overconfident that they don't know how to listen.
In this practical, fun, learn-by-doing workshop, Shirley Taylor and Alison Lester will share some powerful tools for helping you build better relationships with bosses, colleagues and clients - and reap the huge rewards these changes will bring.
Shirley and Alison also help you with your writing skills. You'll learn the golden rules of writing and structuring your messages so you can write great follow-up messages to the various scenarios discussed. You'll see how easy it is to use e-mail to develop relationships and take them forwards instead of back.
This is a unique one-stop workshop to develop great relationships, both orally and in writing!
