Dr. John Ho
Dr. John Ho is an experience industrial practitioner in establishing total cost control and improvement system within manufacturing organization in Asia Pacific Region and has conducted many successful seminars. His practical training in cost improvement systems derive from his experiences in Japan, Europe, and U.S.A. He possesses more than 28 years of working experiences in strategic financial and operational management within high-volume manufacturing and sales environment and more than 22 years of teaching experience in various institutions. During his working life, he holds various senior positions such as Regional Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance, Director of Finance, and Controller of Multinationals such General Motor, AT&T, MiniScribe, etc. His forte is in the application of cost management techniques to reduce total manufacturing cost and implementation of computer-based costing/financial system using standard packages.
Besides developing a series Financial Management Programs, Oriental Strategic Management Programs, Lecturer of Degree program for University of Bradford (UK) and Master programs of Swinburne University of Technology (Australia), University of Strathclyde (UK) and University of Southern Cross(Australia), he also has developed Business Educational Series for children as young as 9 years old. The Business Educational Series is to enable children to gain head start in the corporate world and also to be an entrepreneur.
Dr. John Ho holds a DBA (major in Management Information System) from a FairFax University(USA),MBA from Henley/Brunel University (UK), Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants(UK) and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK). He also possesses other professional qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), Institute of Data Processing Management (UK), and Institute of Administrative Management (UK). Attended residential training at Stanford University (Graduate School of Business)
He is a Certified Instructor of the “Bullet-Proof Manager”, a managerial skills training package, Certified Philip Crosby In-house Quality Instructor, Graduated from Graduate Business School of Stanford University(U.S.A), Associate Trainer of Management Development Institute of Singapore and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
